Simile - Grammar gym


Simile                    A simile is an expression in which two things are compared openly and outwardly.  It is usually introduced by as or like.

                                     Examples:  They fought like angry dogs.
                                                       He ran as fast as a deer.
                                                       She is as happy as a queen.



EXERCISE  96   Complete the following similes by using the proper words.
